Frequently asked questions
Short answers, in plain language. For step-by-step help, see the documentation library.
What is the difference between the Phone Tree and the Voice Agent?
The Phone Tree is a keypad menu: callers press keys to hear availability, services, or leave a message. The Voice Agent talks in conversation instead of a menu. You can run either, or let the Voice Agent answer and fall back to the Phone Tree.
What happens when my AI minutes run out?
Calls fall back to the Phone Tree automatically. Callers still get a menu, messages, and booking help — never a dead line. Prepaid top-ups of $25 or $50 never expire and turn the AI back on.
Can I keep my own phone number?
Yes. Forward your published number to your Plivo number, and callers dial the number they already know while the assistant answers. See the call-forwarding tutorial in Docs.
Which booking systems work with it?
EasyAppointments and Acuity are supported, and other booking systems can also be integrated. Reach out to our sales team to discuss yours.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. The portal is set up through the assistant itself — greeting, hours, service area, and booking — and the documentation walks through each step. A free consultation is available on Get started.
How much does it cost?
Free is $0 to test the Phone Tree. Standard is $50 a month (or $540 a year) with 200 AI minutes included. AI is $149 a month (or $1,499 a year) with 1,000 AI minutes included. See Pricing for overage and SMS details.
How do I test it before real callers hear it?
Try it in Simulated Chat in the portal — a dry run with no real call placed — then make a real test call from a second phone, and review the call in call history. See the test and review tutorials in Docs.
